Adjacent concrete tilt-up wall panels are joined using embedded angles tied into the concrete panels and bridged by a three-eighths-inch by four-inch by eight-inch steel weld plate. A quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides secures the plate to the embed angles typically. A forty-five-day curing and waiting period is required between panel erection and final field welding of the panels together. The architectural panel joint is coordinated per the architectural drawings.
