Wide flange beams attach to opposite sides of a hollow structural section column using bolted shear connections sized per the typical schedule. A roof deck bears across the top of the assembly with a bearing plate resting on the column cap. An internal stabilizer plate provides web reinforcement within the hollow structural section column profile.
