Hollow structural section framing runs along each side of an opening in a metal deck assembly with required deck flute extensions. Hollow structural section members are placed on each side of the opening referencing sheet SS050. Reinforcing is provided at holes ranging from thirteen inches to twenty-four inches maximum in dimension. The hollow structural section attachment extends a minimum of three flutes beyond each end of the opening.
