A split metal grating surrounds a circular pipe penetration with a diameter of D, as specified on design drawings. The grating is split along the centerline of the opening to allow installation around the pipe. A typical one-quarter inch by five-inch toe plate circles the perimeter of the opening. Location and diameter dimensions are coordinated with the primary structural and mechanical design drawings.
