A concrete slab over metal deck bears on a wide-flange steel beam with an exterior wall assembly above. A continuous three-by-three by one-quarter-inch angle is attached at the slab edge with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld at twelve inches on center. The adjacent roof deck spans to a parallel wide-flange beam and is sized according to the roof deck schedule.
