Structural steel pipe braces intersect at a gusset plate welded to the top flange of a horizontal steel beam. The steel pipe braces connect along their respective brace centerlines intersecting at a common working point. A moment connection per detail 12 on sheet S52-00 secures the steel beam assembly.
