A W12 wide flange beam connects to an HSS8x6 hollow structural section column using a WT5x22.5 tee section. The WT stem bolts to the beam web with three bolts. The WT flange welds to the face of the HSS column with five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds along its top and bottom edges.
