Buckling restrained Wildcat BRB brace single modules frame into wide flange columns with gusset plates welded to base plates and column flanges or webs. Gusset plates feature one-and-a-half-inch by one-and-a-half-inch snips and designated weld sizes such as five-sixteenths inch fillets welded on three sides. Clearance dimensions include three-quarters of an inch no weld zones and specific minimum lengths. Base plates rest on grout pads over concrete foundations.
