An HSS14x14 girt frames into a wide-flange column using a W10x49 outrigger beam. The girt features a one-half-inch end plate sized per plan and connects with an L5x5x1/2 by zero-foot-nine-inch angle fastened with three seven-eighths-inch-diameter A325 bolts. Fillet welds of five-sixteenth-inch size secure the structural steel components at the column and outrigger junctions. A partial detail shows plan and elevation views with standard centrelines and dimensional spacing.
