A structural steel shape is encased within a reinforced concrete column and intersected by concrete beams framing from both sides. The assembly is centered on structural grid lines and reinforced longitudinally with twelve number eleven vertical bars and twelve number eight additional vertical bars. Additional number five vertical reinforcing bars are placed typically around the steel section, complemented by horizontal ties and stirrups spanning the column and beam framing.
