A Grade 50 base plate measuring two and one-half inches thick sits within a foundation pocket and anchors via twenty two-inch diameter ASTM F1554 Grade 105 anchor bolts. One-half-inch thick stiffener plates are welded to the base plate as detailed. A gusset plate specified per the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer aligns with the centerlines and is omitted at similar conditions.
