Type SCP-2 column cap plates sit atop wide flange columns and hollow structural section tube columns. The assembly utilizes three-quarter-inch thick cap plates secured with seven-eighth-inch diameter A325N bolts in standard holes, positioned with one-and-a-half-inch typical edge distances and specific gauge dimensions. All cap plates conform to these standard requirements unless otherwise noted on the drawings.
