A structural shear wall hold-down bracket is secured to a compression post and end stud with through bolts per schedule. The hold down anchors down through a routed cross-laminated timber slab, utilizing a quarter-inch steel plate placed below the bottom of the timber slab. Nuts are provided at both the top and bottom of the bearing plate. The wall assembly includes a bottom track fastened to the floor slab with screws.
