A concrete slab on steel deck bears on a reinforced basement wall at grid line L and a wide flange beam at grid line K, establishing Level 1. The concrete deck is reinforced per plan with number 4 bars at 12 inches on center and z-bars matching the size and spacing of the deck reinforcement. Three-quarter-inch diameter by 4-inch long welded studs are spaced at 12 inches on center along the wide flange beam. Deck support angles are provided per typical details at both the basement wall and the wide flange beam supports. Cladding is positioned per architectural drawings above the slab step.
