Reinforcement requirements at concrete filled metal deck depressions apply for two conditions based on depression depth 'd'. When the depression depth is less than or equal to three-quarters of an inch, slab reinforcement utilizes a standard offset bend over the metal deck with concrete fill. When the depth exceeds three-quarters of an inch, slab reinforcement is referenced from the structural plan with an added number four nosing bar at all edges and a specified lap length. Both conditions include provisions for sprayed fireproofing as required on the underside of the metal deck. A general note directs the user to typical slab edge details for sections located at slab openings.
