Placement requirements for electrical conduits routed vertically inside a twelve-inch concrete masonry unit wall. Up to three three-quarter-inch diameter maximum conduits are permitted in unreinforced cells, while cells containing vertical reinforcing are restricted to one three-quarter-inch diameter maximum conduit. Conduits must be centered within the block cell along the inside face of the block shell. Where conduits occur in cells with vertical reinforcing, a minimum one-inch clearance is required between the reinforcing bar and the conduit.
