Heavy steel structural hanger connection featuring one-inch thick stiffener plates on each side and one-and-a-half-inch thick washer plates. Erection bolts hold the structural members in position prior to final welding. Complete joint penetration welds and fillet welds secure the stiffener plates to the structural sections. An array of one-and-a-quarter-inch thick stiffener plates reinforces the hanging structural element.
