A structural steel beam connects to a braced frame column using a one-half-inch side plate welded with five-sixteenths fillet welds. A secondary section shows a steel beam passing through at a buckling-restrained brace with edge closure at the concrete slab and a curtain wall assembly located per plan. A dimension of four and three-quarters inches plus or minus one-quarter inch is maintained at the typical edge of slab.
