A construction pour strip joint in a post-tensioned concrete slab separates first and second pours. An intermediate tendon anchor is embedded at the joint interface with tendons extending across the construction joint. Top and bottom reinforcing steel extends through the joint region with a specified minimum lap length of 2 feet 6 inches and a 2-inch clearance at the joint. A slab sealant joint is provided at the top surface, supplemented by 1-1/2 inch by 3-1/2 inch by 10-inch long beveled keys spaced at 2 feet on center, positioned specifically to clear the tendon anchors.
