A 410UB universal beam supports a rib and infill concrete slab cantilever edge with a seventy-five millimeter minimum seating width. A low-friction bearing strip is placed beneath the slab infill on a one hundred by ten millimeter edge angle with alternating one-hundred-millimeter welds and three-hundred-millimeter gaps. Nineteen-millimeter diameter by seventy-five-millimeter shear studs are spaced at four-hundred-millimeter centers with thirty-five millimeters of top cover. D12 U-bars are welded to the universal beam at two-hundred-millimeter centers and lapped eight hundred millimeters beyond the beam into the slab. Main slab reinforcement follows the structural slab plan.
