A structural steel beam supports a concrete slab and metal roof deck assembly via an embedded plate. The one-half by four inch embed plate features three-quarter inch diameter by four inch headed studs spaced at twenty-four inches on center. A continuous number four rebar is detailed within the concrete slab reinforcing. Connection requirements follow schedule four on sheet S5-121.
