A Tracks-N-Stops drift track is secured at the penthouse roof elevation utilizing a TSN DTSLB400 clip fastened with two number 12 self-tapping sheet metal screws to the stud. The drift track itself is fastened with two number 12 self-tapping sheet metal screws at 8 inches on center, a 1-inch weld top and bottom at 8 inches on center, or two Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners through the baseplate at 8 inches on center. The assembly interfaces with Wall Type D and a structural steel framing member at the roof level.
