Metal roof or floor decking bears on an edge member and a joist or steel beam, secured by five-eighths-inch diameter puddle welds per structural notes. An edge closure of the same gauge as the deck is fastened along the edge member using number ten screws spaced at four inches on center. Adjacent deck panels lap four inches at interior bearings and are secured with puddle welds.
