A pre-engineered roof joist bears on a wide-flange beam with a roof deck above. Diagonal angle braces measuring 3x3x1/4 inches connect at each roof joist. A 1/2-inch diameter erection bolt secures the connection at the standard beam gauge. A 1/4-inch fillet weld is applied on three sides.
