An intersecting steel beam connection incorporates a one-inch bearing plate and three-quarter-inch A325-SC bolts. Full-height three-eighths-inch stiffener plates are welded to both sides of the web at intersecting beams with quarter-inch fillet welds on three sides unless noted otherwise. Additional five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds secure the components at typical locations. View B-B provides a plan orientation of the beam gauge and bolt spacing relative to the supported member.
