Horizontal angle braces frame into a structural steel beam sized per plan using a three-eighths-inch steel plate gusset connection. The braces connect to the gusset plate using one and two seven-eighths-inch diameter A325 bolts. Edge distances and typical spacing dimensions are provided at the brace connections. The work point aligns the intersecting structural members at the beam intersection.
