A concrete housekeeping pad sits atop a structural slab with a bonded or roughened surface interface if poured separately. Reinforcement is provided per the typical topping slab detail, with anchor bolts or anchors installed as required by the equipment supplier. The pad features a minimum four and one-half inch clearance dimension and a variable pad height coordinated with mechanical, electrical, and architectural plans.
