A clip angle connection joins a steel beam to a hollow structural section tube column, along with a secondary beam-to-beam connection detail. The steel beam web connects to the steel column using bolted clip angles with specified edge distances and bolt spacings. Similar clip angles are detailed for joining structural steel beams directly to one another. Standard framing clearances and dimensions are indicated for fabrication and erection.
