An existing precast concrete panel is secured to an existing concrete wall using a five-eighths inch by six-inch galvanized plate and a one-and-one-quarter-inch diameter hot-dip galvanized ASTM F1554 HAS-B-105 threaded rod. The threaded rod is embedded seven inches into the existing concrete wall with Hilti HIT-RE 500 V3 epoxy. The twelve-inch dimension is verified in the field to miss existing wall reinforcing. All new anchor holes are filled with adhesive, and waterproofing is applied per site-specific directives.
