An existing precast concrete wall connects to a new concrete slab over compacted fill and a grade beam. Dowels are embedded into the existing wall and anchored with Hilti HIT-RE 500-SD epoxy to match the size and spacing of continuous footing reinforcement. A seven-inch new concrete slab and underlying compacted fill sit above the grade beam, which features top and bottom reinforcement configured per structural plans.
