The concrete shear wall boundary element measures two feet wide by one foot two inches thick and is heavily reinforced with number four closed ties and crossed ties spaced at five inches on center. The wall reinforcement transitions to match the wall elevation per structural notes, maintaining one and one-half inches typical clear cover. Additional spacing and dimension callouts locate the reinforcing bars within the boundary zone.
