Cold-formed steel stud framing for an opening features vertical studs, jambs, and mullions sized per schedule with bridging. Double attachments secure the jambs at the roof or floor level. Number eight self-tapping sheet metal screws fasten to each stud typically at the header and sill tracks. Connection to concrete is detailed separately per structural drawings.
