A hollow structural section beam is supported by a hollow structural section post, which anchors into a concrete foundation. Roof metal deck and a steel channel are attached to the beam assembly. Teks screws secure the roof metal deck according to framing plan specifications, with specific screw patterns noted. Fillet welds connect the structural steel components as indicated on the drawing. Vertical clearance is maintained at a minimum of four feet, subject to architectural verification.
