A structural connection features a full-depth stiffened beam occurring opposite a cold-formed steel drift track at the slab edge. A steel beam frames into the assembly, featuring a gravity connection to the slab edge provided by the supplier. The drift track utilizes a 2 S802 profile designed to accommodate vertical and lateral deflections noted in the general structural notes. A one-inch clearance gap is maintained between the slab edge and exterior finishes, with a joint provided in the finishes to allow for interstory drifts. Metal stud sills, jambs, and curtain wall or glazing assemblies coordinate with the exterior facade finishes.
