A buckling-restrained brace connects to a steel column and gusset plate above a concrete foundation and slab on grade. Stiffener plates are welded near and far side as required by the corebrace manufacturer. A concrete block-out is provided around the column base, with baseplate and anchor bolt information referenced on elevations. The work point is located at the intersection of the column and brace centerlines.
