A reinforced concrete grade beam supports an above-grade slab, with dimensions and bar sizes sized per schedule. Two number four dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center extend with twelve inches of embedment into the grade beam. Longitudinal reinforcement includes top bars, bottom bars, top added bars, bottom added bars, and number five bars each face for depths greater than thirty inches. Stirrups enclose the longitudinal reinforcement, and all reinforcing is detailed per the structural schedule.
