A concrete ramp starts directly on a concrete slab with a one-inch vertical offset at the transition. Reinforcing dowels match the slab reinforcement and extend into the ramp to tie the elements together. Number four rebars spaced at twelve inches provide longitudinal and transverse reinforcement within the ramp slab.
