A wide flange beam end connects to an existing concrete wall using three-quarter inch steel plates on each side with twenty one-inch diameter A307 through-bolts featuring one and one-half inch vertical slot holes. Steel shim plates match the height of the new plates typically. Existing sheathing, an existing beam, and existing plates with through-bolts interface directly with the concrete wall assembly.
