A structural steel column connects to a composite wall via a base plate detailed per standard specifications. The base plate rests on a grout pad over oversized anchor rod holes and is secured with anchor bolts extending into the wall below. A cap plate ties into the wall assembly per the typical composite wall detail, maintaining a level plane across the top of the support.
