Base plate connections for interior gravity columns supported on dropped footings are detailed along with a schedule specifying base plate thicknesses and anchor bolt spacings for various wide flange shapes including W10x, W12x, and W14x, as well as hollow structural sections from HSS6x6 up to HSS10x10. Plan views for wide flange and HSS columns show anchor bolt positioning with 2-inch edge clearances and designated spacings "S". Fillet welds of 5/16-inch or 1/4-inch size connect the column profiles to their respective base plates.
