An HSS stair landing post is welded to a square steel base plate using a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The base plate is secured to a one-foot six-inch square thickened concrete slab using four three-quarters inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ2 wedge anchors with a three and three-quarters inch embedment depth. The anchor layout features ten-inch spacing with equal distribution across the plate.
