The metal stud wall framing consists of a continuous top track connected with two number eight screws at each stud. A ceiling joist bears across the top track and is fastened with two number eight screws at each joist. Ceiling ties sized 362T125-43 are attached to the top of the joist with two minimum number eight screws at each joist. Additional blocking at the top is secured with two number eight screws at each backing piece.
