Beams frame into opposite sides of a hollow structural section column using WT4x24 shapes placed on each side. A one-half-inch plate connects to the beam web with a bolted configuration. Channel sections designated as C12x25, one foot long, are placed on each side of the beam web with trimmed flanges to fit the geometry. Five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds secure the connection components on three sides typically.
