A contractor-provided spreader section distributes suspended loads beneath a concrete-filled metal deck. Threaded anchors extend upward through the deck flutes to secure the assembly. Maximum allowable loading is twelve hundred pounds within a four-foot length of flute, spaced at four feet on center minimum. Where loads exceed these specified values, an alternative anchorage arrangement must be submitted to the architect for review.
