Stud and track web punchouts have a minimum spacing of twenty-four inches on center with a minimum ten-inch clearance from the end of the member and a maximum four-inch punchout dimension. The actual shape of the punchout may vary but must not exceed a maximum dimension determined by the member depth d divided by two or two inches maximum, whichever is smaller.
