A typical concrete housekeeping pad anchored to an underlying structural slab provides mechanical and electrical equipment support. The pad features fifteen-millimeter reinforcing bars spaced at four hundred millimeters each way, tied into dowels drilled and doweled into the slab using Hilti HY200 adhesive with a one hundred millimeter minimum embedment. Edges of the housekeeping pad are finished with a typical twenty-five millimeter chamfer, and maximum pad height is specified at one hundred fifty millimeters. Edge distances from the equipment footprint to the pad edge must account for vibration isolation requirements as determined by mechanical, electrical, or architectural drawings.
