The intermediate stressing joint configuration incorporates continuous slab reinforcement, banded tendons, encapsulations, and two number four backup bars at distributed tendons only, alongside additional number four rebar measuring five feet zero inches at eighteen inches on center at the top and bottom. A minimum sixteen-inch straight extension is detailed from the first pour to the second pour interface. The no intermediate stressing configuration features continuous slab reinforcement and tendons through the joint with additional number four rebar measuring five feet zero inches at twelve inches on center at the mid-thickness per plan.
