A cold-formed metal stud and track assembly bears on a concrete-filled metal deck or slab on grade, maintaining a minimum four-inch edge distance. The track is secured to the concrete deck using one-half-inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ2 expansion anchors with a two-inch embedment spaced at twenty-four inches on center. Two number ten self-tapping sheet metal screws connect each stud to the track on typical sides. The concrete-filled metal deck spans in the direction indicated per plan, with edge of deck conditions occurring as specified.
