A five-eighths inch thick gusset plate connects double angle members sized per elevation to a steel beam, located per elevation. Double angle braces are bolted to the gusset plate with two-inch typical spacings and two and a half inches on center, maintaining a one-inch typical clearance. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch size join the assembly at ninety-degree orientation relative to the work point.
