A roof collector plate and panel splice connection bears on a wide flange beam. The assembly incorporates a 1/2 x 9 x 10 inch plate at the roof slope alongside a 1/2 x 10 inch plate with a beveled top matching the roof slope. Acoustic dowel laminated timber roof panels utilize 3x beveled blocking at 1'-0" typical and maintain a 1/2 inch clearance. Two rows of 4 inch mechanical screws at 5 inches on center fasten the roof sheathing. A 1/2 x 5 inch splice plate is provided at the collector end joint with 5/16 welds.
